Job Description

ESG Operations, Inc. is currently hiring a Utility Manager to join our Waycross, GA team. Our managers are "hands-on" candidates with experience running a multi-discipline work team providing operations, maintenance, and management of water and wastewater treatment facilities. We are looking for candidates with the highest level Wastewater license in Georgia.

Responsibilities

  • Direct a team responsible for the operations, maintenance, and management of water and wastewater treatment and conveyance systems.

  • Analyze operational process control procedures and maintenance procedures, making vital changes to achieve full compliance with regulatory agency requirements.

  • Maintain accurate operational records and prepare reports required by clients and regulatory agencies.

  • Inspect facilities, evaluate O&M functions, review records and data, interview and select new personnel, and initiate and recommend new or improved methods or practices.

  • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulations and policies at the City, County, and State levels.

  • Attend Council meetings and represent the Client and Inframark with State and Federal agencies.

Qualifications

  • A college degree is helpful, as is any combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Eight years of dynamically responsible experience in water/wastewater treatment.

  • Georgia Wastewater Operators License certification.

  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Confirmed experience in making sound financial, technical, and management decisions.

  • Proficient digital literacy including Microsoft Office applications.
