Job Title Foodservice and Beverage Sourcing Intern
Location: Corporate
Department: Strategic Sourcing
Salary: $17.00/hr
*This internship begins on May 20, 2024 and runs until August 8, 2024. This role is a full time commitment (37.5 hour work week).*
Position Summary : The Foodservice and Beverage Sourcing Intern is responsible for supporting the Foodservice and Beverage Strategic Sourcing team through pricing and data analysis, process improvement and commodity data research. This position will work cross functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Product Development, and QA Business Partners.
Principal Duties :
Assist sourcing specialist and analyst with monthly/quarterly price changes and help resolve discrepancies
Adhoc analysis requests to support sourcing team RFQs, pricing requests, Enterprise Productivity analysis support, and other areas
Support sourcing analyst to complete commodity analysis from researching market trends to compiling market data
Support process improvement efforts across the department
Conduct commodity forecast tracking, create tools to monitor accuracy of third party forecasts
Essential Functions:
Detail oriented with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem resolution skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude with a focus on Customer Service
Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently
Some travel to stores & vendor facilities

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum GPA of 3.0 or Higher
Rising Junior or Rising Senior with an anticipated graduation date of December 2024, Spring 2025, December 2025 or Spring 2026.
Candidate must be available from May 20, 2024 – August 8, 2024
Pursuit of college level sourcing, supply chain, business, or food marketing course work preferred
Relevant work experience helpful
Wawa store experience a plus
Experience with SAP or BW software a plus
Experience with the use of standard office software (MS Outlook and advanced Excel) and ability to learn new software quickly with minimal supervision
