Job Title: Receiving Associate--Weekly Pay--Monday to Friday

Job Description

Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using a computer. Pack and unpack items to be stocked in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electronic marking tools, or other labeling equipment. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Advise retail customers or internal users on the appropriateness of parts, supplies, or materials requested. Confer with purchasing personnel and vendors regarding stock procurement and availability. Recommend disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock. Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications. Deliver or route materials to departments using hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins. Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock. Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information. Direct spouts and position receptacles, such as bins, carts, or containers so they can be loaded. Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected. Distribute work orders to departments. Review documents and work orders to determine materials requirements or material priorities.

This is a fully on-site position in Waverly, Nebraska.

Work Environment

Warehouse - non-climate controlled. Can be dusty. Team: 4 people total. Dress: jeans, steel toes, layers as needed. Hours: 7am - 5pm Mon-Fri.
