Job Title: Welder Fabricator

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Welder Fabricators to join our team. This role involves fabricating materials by laying out, cutting, fitting, measuring, and welding metals to create the desired shape or object. You will use fabrication equipment to shape, size, and form materials, and perform core bit drilling, mag drilling, punching, and grinding. This is a full build position that requires detailed work, including constant inspection and testing of welds and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design welding projects using blueprints and work plans.

• Lay out, cut, fit, measure, and weld metals to fabricate metal objects.

• Use fabrication equipment to shape, size, and form materials.

• Perform core bit drilling, mag drilling, punching, and grinding.

• Inspect and test welds for durability and compliance with specified standards.

• Examine equipment to determine if repairs or new equipment are needed.

Essential Skills

• MIG Welding experience (1+ year)

• Blueprint reading experience (1+ year)

• Ability to read a tape measure

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with laser or brake press is a plus.

Work Environment

This is a manufacturing environment that is hot in the summer and cooler in the winter. You will work with a partner or in a small team. The first shift runs from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with optional overtime available one hour before and after the shift, as well as on Saturdays.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00
