Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Patient Service Representative in the healthcare industry, located in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, 53222, United States. In this role, you will interact with patients, schedule appointments, handle call center tasks, and manage patient documentation. You will be responsible for maintaining the daily schedule and ensuring that all necessary documentation and payments are received per insurance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with patients at various stages of their treatment journey.

• Accurately check patients into EHR using established patient registration check-in protocols.

• Manage the ordering and uploading of sleep study reports into the system.

• Review the future clinic schedule to ensure insurance and necessary patient documentation is within the patient chart.

• Schedule patient appointments and provide overflow coverage for the call center as necessary.

• Maintain the opening and closing of the clinic per established guidelines.

• Ensure documentation is appropriately completed and patient payment is received per insurance.

• Collaborate with clinic team members to maintain the daily schedule.

• Order medical supplies and pharmaceuticals as needed, per established protocol.

• Utilize skills in CRM, EHR SYSTEM, McKesson, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Benefit Functions, Billing Functions, Cash Activity, Claim Administration, and Complaint Handling. Requirements • Must have at least one year of experience in a relevant healthcare role

• Proficiency in using CRM and EHR systems is essential

• Experience with McKesson software is required

• Must demonstrate competency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

• Knowledge of benefit functions within a healthcare context is necessary

• Familiarity with billing functions in a healthcare setting is required

• Experience handling cash activity is a plus

• Must have experience in claim administration within a healthcare setting

• Strong skills in complaint handling are necessary
