JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position: General Adult Psychiatrist - Substance Abuse Treatment Job Hours: First shift, flexible hours Monday through Friday. Work on-call, weekend, and holiday shifts required to meet program needs. ProHealth Care\'s premier behavioral health program seeks to hire a full-time board-certified general psychiatrist or substance abuse treatment with licensure to practice in Wisconsin. Join our premier behavioral health program in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, 25 miles west of Milwaukee. Our program includes outpatient therapy, inpatient psychiatric care, a partial hospitalization program, and integrated behavioral health services. You will interact with a team of psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, registered nurses, psychotherapists, and social workers. The candidate reports to the clinical program director, provides psychiatric evaluations, medical management, consultation with patients, and implements appropriate treatment. Technical Skill-Core Competencies Provides psychiatric evaluation on all new patients and establishes treatment recommendations using age-appropriate techniques. Prescribes and manages patient medication and treatment. Maintains appropriate, legible, and timely written patient records and submits patient-billing information accurately and on time. Supports therapists, as appropriate, in the care of patients or the rendering of services to patients to provide high-quality patient care. Attends educational programs to increase professional competence and learn new developments and approaches in psychiatry. Experienced or willing to receive training on TMS therapy to cover clinic supervision coverage as needed. Education, Training, and Experience MD with a residency in psychiatry Wisconsin State licensure required Board Certification or eligibility Full ProHealth Waukesha and/or Oconomowoc Memorial Hospitals medical staff membership. Experience providing substance abuse treatment and familiarity with ASAM Experience with community-based services Case management experience Experience working in a high-stress and fast pace environment Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams Ability to multi-task and manage time What You Will Do: The Physician - Child/Adolescent Psychiatristexamines and treats general client base to ensure proper injury care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
