About the role

This position will be leading all aspects of meeting planning activities such as scheduling, providing room set configuration options, audio visual or decor options, or list of recommended food and beverage vendors.

What you’ll do

Be the point of person to coordinate meetings and events.

Lead overall center schedule including clients meeting and correspondence.

Run online conference room scheduling system to ensure proper meeting placement.

Host, check in vendors and ensure the logistics of the event.

Prepare event space, assist with vendor space access, and ensure the safety and insurance requirements are met.

Ensures catering options/menus are presented timely; Coordinate delivery and assist with set up of food & beverages; clean up afterward.

Works closely with AV/Meeting & Events technician team to ensure set up and needs have been met.

Ensures all equipment is in proper working order.

What you’ll need

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

  • Diploma or GED required with 1 - 2 years of related work experience.

  • Prior event coordination, customer service or other hospitality experience preferred.

  • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

  • Comfortable meeting and engaging with new people.

  • Good organizational skills.

  • Ability to work flexible work schedules based on business need.

  • May need to be physically able to lift and move 30-40 boxes and operate a two-wheel dolly.

  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.

  • G Suite experience preferred.
