Actalent Mechanical Engineer in Waukesha, Wisconsin

We are looking for a Mechanical/Product Engineer who is interested in working for a growing and profitable manufacturer of engineering food and beverage processing equipment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead a product design team for product enhancement, new product development, engineered-to-order projects

  • Review/check designs and guide the designers

  • Utilize the services of staff engineer/designers

  • Complete product engineering

  • Custom project execution and project management activities through completion of full manufacturing release

  • Analyze, develop, test, and manage new product developments including developing inputs for product specifications, functional performance, estimated engineering hours, estimated production costs, and milestone dates

  • Specify components, assemblies, and materials based on design inputs and research supplier offerings

  • Perform calculations including but not limited to:

  • Fluid Mechanics

  • Thermodynamics

  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

  • ASME

  • PED

Skills:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of mechanical engineering experience -machine design, castings design

  • Minimum 8 years of SolidWorks experience

  • Minimum 10 years with piping design, valves

Experience Level:

  • Expert Level
