JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Details Job Location Wisconsin Centrifugal - Waukesha, WI Position Type Full Time Salary Range \$20.05 - \$30.09 Hourly Job Shift 1st Shift Description Contact carriers, customers and WC sales personnel to coordinate details for shipping arrangements. Review necessary shipping-related documents and computer information for completeness and accuracy, verifying with other departments that items are ready to ship. Includes setup and entry of information into customer or vendor portals. Obtain bids and negotiate with carriers to obtain most favorable truck rates utilizing 3PL (3rd Party Logistics portal). Proactively track and coordinate product internally and externally and expedite if necessary. Coordinate staffing for off shift deliveries and pick-ups. Prepare proper documentation for shipping and receiving using computer and customer or vendor portals. Distribute copies to appropriate WC departments, carriers/vendors and files. Includes Bills of Lading, receivers, hazardous material documentation, export documents, etc. Requires knowledge of a variety of special shipping/receiving situations. Maintain accuracy in inventory, vendor subcontract processing, job folders and travelers. Coordinate and communicate with drivers and appropriate WC departments to move throughout the plant to the appropriate department/yard areas. Receive documents and small packages, reviewing paperwork for completeness and coordinating distribution within the plant. Maintain records on carrier information, delivery times and delivery points. Qualifications Good verbal and written communication skills.
