PROLEC-GE WAUKESHA HR Coordinator in WAUKESHA, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB SUMMARY This position will operate in a fast-paced environment as a HR shared service associate for all business locations at Prolec GE Waukesha, Inc. This position is responsible for data entry and administration. The data entry component includes entering all information for new hires, terminations, and other relevant changes into the HRIS system for all employees. This role is responsible for tracking forms and spreadsheets related to Human Resources programs. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Enter employee information into HRIS system Manages onboarding process, including system entry, documents, IT administration and communication regarding pending items and to new hire Manage background check and drug testing process Administers employee referral program Administers PPE reimbursement and educational reimbursement process Administers Company Service Award program Responsible for Department of Homeland Security E-Verify verifications Ensures completion of all new hire paperwork and assembles employee folders, includes sign off on policies within HRIS system. Administers termination process, including employee folders Manages requests and sends out communication for HR Communication and WaukeshaHR mailboxes Maintain employee and I9 files, including filing of documents Conducts employee data audits Sorts and distributes HR mail, includes uploading wage garnishments to Smart Compliance Actively contributes and leads portions of the Company\'s social responsibility Supports monthly reporting requests, as requested through HRSS (Human Resources Shared Service) email KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Ability to communicate with employees and management at all levels Detail-oriented, handle confidential information in a sensitive manner Adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment Organized and good with time management Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets in order to track various types of employee data and forms Knowledge of HR law (FMLA, FLSA, HIPAA, etc.) This position will find some situations and information stressful and sensitive, requiring a high degree of maturity, poise, and discretion, confidentiality along with strong personal ethics and integrity.
