Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Waukesha, Wisconsin

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the healthcare industry, specifically located in Waukesha, Wisconsin, United States. This role is within the function of a Customer Service Representative, where the successful candidate will be interacting with clients, providers, and internal referring offices, primarily via phone calls and emails.

Responsibilities:

• Handling inbound customer calls and promptly returning missed calls.

• Responding to emails from clients, providers, and internal referring offices in a timely and professional manner.

• Reviewing the provider's previous history in MedCheck, Scheck, and SalesCloud to provide accurate and informed responses.

• Consulting with the Supervisor or other departments to clarify answers to inquiries as needed.

• Contacting the provider to discuss findings at the appropriate level.

• Maintaining and updating reports and spreadsheets as required.

• Utilizing knowledge of Workers Compensation fee schedules and regulations.

• Leveraging effective oral and written communication skills to clearly convey information.

• Applying good organizational skills and the ability to multitask to manage workload efficiently.

• Using Microsoft applications proficiently.

• Applying medical terminology and coding knowledge in the execution of duties.

• Email Correspondence Requirements • Proven experience in a Customer Service role within the Healthcare or NHS industry

• Proficiency in answering inbound calls and providing exceptional service to customers

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Knowledge of medical billing procedures and codes

• Familiarity with communicating with medical providers and understanding their needs

• Demonstrated ability to manage email correspondence professionally and efficiently

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high call volumes

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
