Description We are in the machinery manufacturing industry, situated in Waukesha, Wisconsin, 53186-1801, United States. We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. This role involves overseeing the processing of customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. Additionally, you will monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the generation and dispatch of invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner

• Monitor customer accounts for late payments and carry out follow-ups on outstanding balances

• Address and resolve any billing discrepancies and disputes with customers

• Process incoming payments in various forms such as checks, credit card transactions, and electronic transfers

• Ensure the accounts receivable ledger is reconciled to maintain accuracy and completeness

• Prepare aging reports and conduct other financial analysis related to accounts receivable

• Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and resolve any payment issues. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Billing processes and procedures

• Experience in Cash Applications and Cash Collections

• Knowledge of Commercial Collections

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Oracle software

• Experience in QuickBooks

• Knowledge of SAP software

• Understanding of machinery manufacturing industry

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities

• High level of integrity and reliability

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
