Position: Machine Operator Assistant

Shift : 2nd shift hours 2pm-10pm M-F

Pay : $18-19/HR based off experience and interview

Job Description:

• This role is a machine operator assistant, responsibilities are based off the present needs of the line operators of flexographic machines.

• Works with large paper rolls for printing, using hoists to maneuvers

• Some of the machines have touchscreens for set ups, other machines require turning knocks and manual adjustments

• Set formers, gears, and cylinders for paper set up

• Maintain machine speeds at all times and adjust when necessary

• Inspect bags or food wraps to ensure quality

• Utilize tools, tape measure, wrenches, and screwdrivers as need

• Must help keep the work areas clean and organized, keep machines supplied with paper, ink, and glue, change paper rolls, change printing plates and do any packing as needed
