Position Statement

This person is responsible for business development of Brand F&B and StiR Creative Collective EMEA for both managed and franchised hotels. This involves lead generation and conversion of leads to projects for StiR – and subsequently confirming scalable brand and bespoke projects through scope of works and contracts in collaboration with the StiR creative team. Identification of partnership and sponsorship opportunities, including public speaking and engagement opportunities. Principle goals are to monetise the work of StiR, ensure profitability of endeavours and analyse results and produce success cases and returns of investments.

Position Summary

The Senior Manager Brand F&B – Business Development & Commercial will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Developing and promoting StiR Creative Collective services

  • Promoting Market Insights, Concepts and Branding Services, plus the ancillary services of creation of hotel brand stories and spa / wellness concept creation and branding to potential or existing clients
  • Sell scalable brands to owners as part of StiR Creative Collective Services
  • Grow and maintain network of owner, operator, asset manager and GM contacts as client base
  • Work cross-functionally and ensure regular meeting cadence with AD&C (architecture, design and construction development teams), legal, brand heads in region and globally, regional directors of managed hotels
  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge of StiR services, pitch materials and projects
  • Creating tailor made budget proposals for StiR Creative Collective clients and ensure a timely follow-up
  • Attend internal and external conferences to pitch StiR services and represent StiR to owners
  • Ensure constant optimization of StiR profile internally and externally with owners
  • Constant networking within the wider organization, and report on and check back with leads, project partners and other key stakeholders in our StiR Business Leads list in Monday.com

Partnership

  • Identify talent partnership needs and collaborate & brief to Managing Director Development for Partnerships.

  • Manage relationships with third party service providers such as Wi-Q, smart retail partners, delivery aggregators and other identified partners where a commercial connection with Hilton and StiR exists or is needed.

  • Find product alignment, use cases and commercial advantages working with food and beverage category HSM. Identify other similar opportunities with product, technology and other elements.
  • Manage all commercial arrangements, pulling in additional support from HSM and legal as required
  • Identify ESG partnerships for best practice and positioning.

Analysis & Success Cases

  • Develop Return on Investment cases for scalable brands, bespoke concepts where StiR work has been sold and where a named partner has been selected to optimize guest experience
  • Create and maintain pipeline, conversion and sales/profitability dashboards in tools like Smartsheet
  • Regularly check guest insights analysis, working with Global Guest Insights team and regional AD&C capex investment team

Qualifications

  • Degree or significant work experience in lieu thereof
  • Degree or academic study in Business or Commercial Administration
  • Diverse hospitality industry experience preferred, with a mix of experience in F&B/hospitality
  • Rich and significant knowledge of current hospitality brands, F&B concepts, restaurant/bar design, trends
  • Management or internship experience in Food & Beverage operations or related industry
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills, as well as excellent written communication skills
  • High proficiency in MS PowerPoint, InDesign, Excel, Word, Outlook, Sharepoint and Monday.com (Adobe Suite desirable, but not essential)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage change, resolve conflicts and ensure collaboration within teams and/or units; includes maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity
  • Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to effectively collaborate with others
  • Ability to prioritize short and long-term project work in coordination with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage independent work within larger groups as appropriate
  • Ability to travel up to 25-30% of time
  • Preferred – fluency in English and proficiency in at least one other regional language
