Growing company in Waterville is seeking a General Manager to lead company operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial preferred) or similar and at least 5 years of management experience in manufacturing. Solid ERP experience is required and previous plastics manufacturing is highly preferred. Excellent communication, financial, analytical and leadership abilities desired.

All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

responsibilities:

• Provide excellent leadership for the organization to position it for growth and efficiency

• Serve as a visionary for the company regarding lean manufacturing, team leadership and financial management

• Work with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the organization.

• Develop and control profits, plans, and budget.

• Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.

• Work to minimize labor overtime and repair expenses.

• Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.

• Travel to other regional plant locations occasionally, about 20%.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Engineering or similar

• At least 5 years of management experience in manufacturing

• Solid, effective leadership and mentoring abilities to manage growth and expansion

• strong ERP knowledge

• Plastic injection/extrusion experience

• Lean manufacturing experience and leadership in an ISO9001 culture

• Excellent communication, analytical, and financial skills and lean manufacturing experience

• Mechanical background and PLC knowledge a plus

• bilingual English/Spanish a plus
