MaineGeneral Health Senior Financial Planning Analyst (Remote) in Waterville, Maine
Job Summary:MaineGeneral Health is seeking a full-time remote Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join our team! This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing planning, coordination, reporting, and administration of managerial and financial reporting across the organization’s service lines and departments.
Job Description:
The Work:
Performs service line analysis, episode of care anal ytics, financial modeling, and cost accounting to develop organizational strategies and assist in leadership decision-making
Identifies financial and operational performance trends and provides improvement recommendations for continual improvement
Participates in budget preparations, financial forecasting, variance analysis, cost reports, financial planning, and ad-hoc activities
Prepare and analyze benchmarking and peer data compared to organization data
You Have:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred
At least 3+ years of experience in healthcare finance and accounting
Experience with StrataJazz Advanced Cost Accounting
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and support skills
Ability to be flexible and shift priorities quickly
Strong attention to detail

Additional Job Description
Certification/License Requirements: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Maine Board of Accountancy or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) - Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) preferred.
At least 3 years of healthcare accounting experience required .
Experience with StrataJazz Advanced Cost Accounting is required .
