Job Title: CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift
Job Description
We provide industry-leading lifecycle services for all types and makes of industrial cranes and hoists, as well as sustainable lifting solutions for a full range of industrial applications. You will build industrial overhead cranes and material handling equipment for various industries such as shipyards, steel factories, and lumber mills.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC lathes or CNC machining centers for producing products like shafts, wheels, pinions/gears, drums, sheaves, and related machined crane components.
Perform 1-2 setups per day, ensuring proper dimensions by reading and interpreting part drawings.
Note, report, and correct any variations in the routing sequence.
Keep supervisors informed of pertinent issues and maintain accurate records, files, and databases.
Maintain tooling and ensure proper inspection, including first piece inspections.
Perform preventative maintenance on machines.
Essential Skills
Ability to operate a variety of CNC mills and lathes, including Okuma, Haas, and Moriseki machines.
Familiarity with G-CODE and Fanuc systems.
Experience with setups at the machines.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, use calipers, and micrometers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with overhead crane operation.
Ability to maintain accurate records and perform preventative maintenance.

Work Environment
You will be working on 2nd shift (4-10s) from 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. The facility has multiple machining centers and machine variations (CNC and manual machines). Most of the work involves repairing or upgrading crane parts, which can vary from new to very old. Most parts require an overhead crane for movement as they can weigh over a ton. PPE required includes steel toe boots, safety glasses, and earplugs.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $83200.00
