Support Investigator
Jefferson County Department of Social Services is seeking a skilled individual to conduct investigations to determine the location and financial status of individuals legally responsible for the support of children.
Salary Range: $21.42 - $26.23 per hour.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Either:
(A) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an associate's degree; OR
(B) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and two years of interviewing or investigating experience involving public contact; OR
(C) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Appointees will be required to possess a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State or otherwise demonstrate their ability to meet transportation needs of the job.
