Job duties include operating various farm equipment to plant; seed tending; fertilize; spray; transport fuel to fields; tender grain away from combine with grain cart at harvest; windrow, rake, bale, and remove straw and hay from fields; mow grass and weeds from around bins and fences; cut trees from fence lines, waterways, and pasture. Employees will operate equipment including but not limited to tractors, pick ups, forklift, anhydrous tanks, grain cart, self propelled wind rower, tractor with hay rake, baler with rotary mower, tree remover, and weed cutter. Duties also include manual labor such as hooking up equipment, minor repairs to equipment, weed cutting, and some lifting when necessary. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general functions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. The employer reserves the right to increase workers\' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.
Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
