Job Summary

Price Benowitz LLP is seeking a skilled Trusts & Estates attorney to join our established Trusts & Estates practice group. This position is ideal for an experienced attorney with an existing practice who is looking to join a firm offering a competitive compensation structure for their current book of business. We seek individuals with deep knowledge and extensive experience in Trusts & Estates law. This opportunity is particularly rewarding for those with an existing client base who wish to integrate into a dynamic and supportive firm environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting comprehensive estate plans, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other related documents.

  • Managing and overseeing estate administration processes, including probate and trust administration.

  • Advising clients on estate planning strategies, tax implications, and asset protection.

  • Conducting legal research and staying updated on relevant laws and regulations in estate planning and administration.

  • Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions.

  •  Building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure ongoing client satisfaction and retention.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Active bar licenses in Washington, DC and either Maryland (MD) or Virginia (VA).

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning and estate administration.

  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws related to estates, trusts, and probate.

  • Excellent drafting and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.

  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
