The Opportunity:

Task Supervisor

The contractor will provide assistance to the government Project Manager overseeing DOJ Civil Rights Division safety programs such as shelter-in-place, active shooter, emergency evacuation, fire protection, and other OSHA safety compliance programs.

Responsibilities:

Program Assistance :

  • Assist the government Project Manager in overseeing CRT safety programs, including shelter-in-place, active shooter, emergency evacuation, fire protection, and OSHA safety compliance programs.

Safety Program Implementation :

  • Facilitate the implementation of safety protocols and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with established safety guidelines and regulations.

Emergency Preparedness :

  • Coordinate and conduct regular safety drills and training sessions.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of emergency response plans and make necessary adjustments.

Compliance Monitoring :

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.

  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.

Incident Management :

  • Assist in the investigation and documentation of safety incidents.

  • Recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Reporting and Documentation :

  • Maintain accurate records of safety training, drills, inspections, and incidents.

  • Prepare and submit regular reports on safety program status and compliance.

Stakeholder Coordination :

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government officials, contractors, and staff, to ensure cohesive safety program management.

  • Serve as a point of contact for safety-related inquiries and concerns.

Training and Development :

  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on safety procedures and best practices.

  • Stay updated on new safety regulations and technologies to enhance program effectiveness.

Resource Management :

  • Ensure the availability and proper maintenance of safety equipment and supplies.

  • Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for safety initiatives.

Continuous Improvement :

  • Identify opportunities for improving safety programs and processes.

  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance overall safety and compliance.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • At least two years of experience on major litigation or safety support projects. Broad experience in a variety of areas - document center, coding shop, field discovery, etc. – is preferable to experience in one area only.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a team environment.

  • Excellent writing skills and oral communication skills.

  • Requires hands-on familiarity with the Government's data processing environments, including office automation networks, PC-based database and other applications, internet and server-based database and other applications, such as Oracle, Concordance, Summation, Trial Director, etc.

  • Should be a knowledgeable user of the Government's word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and telecommunications systems.

  • Undergraduate degree very helpful; substantial significant experience may be substituted for degree requirement.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$71,500 - $150,200
