Meta Strategic Compliance Program Manager - Transaction Monitoring and Forensic Specialist in Washington, District Of Columbia

Summary:

Meta is seeking a Strategic Compliance Program Manager who is a highly proactive team player to join the Corporate Compliance & Ethics (CC&E) team within Meta’s Legal department. This position will play a key role in supporting Meta’s compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. It will be focused on designing, implementing, and managing cross-functional, innovative compliance transaction monitoring tooling that facilitate efficient risk management across multiple risk domains. In addition, this position will support the scaling of CC&E’s third party audit program. Required Skills:

Strategic Compliance Program Manager - Transaction Monitoring and Forensic Specialist Responsibilities:

  1. Actively identify, prioritize, and pursue opportunities to enhance Meta’s accounts payable (AP) and travel & expense (T&E)compliance transaction monitoring and introduce innovative approaches and solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness

  2. Expand the transaction monitoring and third party audit protocol, focusing primarily on anti-fraud and anti-corruption compliance, and other domains such as trade, political activities, and competition

  3. Work across teams to design, implement, and manage large-scale compliance programs, including programmatic controls and safeguards relating to third party risk management, procurement, T&E, financial controls, and compliance approvals

  4. Build relationships and coordinate with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment of requirements between stakeholder teams

  5. Recognize patterns, evaluate data and metrics to make constructive observations to enhance transaction monitoring

  6. Help assess effectiveness of key controls and safeguards and recommend and manage improvements

  7. Report and review any potential deviations from compliance policies/procedures and issue and track appropriate corrective actions

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years of relevant experience in forensic accounting, third-party risk, data analysis, and visualization tools within a global organization

  2. Practical experience in developing, operationalizing, enhancing and leading AP and T&E transaction monitoring protocols

  3. Proven experience in implementing machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions to enhance transaction monitoring skills

  4. Experience working on anti-corruption, anti-fraud matters, and third party audits

  5. Experience working with counsel, investigations teams, and subject matter experts across various compliance domains such as political activities, competition, and trade sanctions

  6. Demonstrated experience in translating technical terminology in order to drive understanding and buy-in from a varied range of stakeholders

  7. Proven experience influencing, building consensus, driving change as well as communicating and/or presenting effectively with different levels of leadership

  8. Experience building relationships and establishing trust and credibility, and incorporating feedback from, diverse, cross-functional teams such as legal, finance, and engineering teams

  9. Experience of consistently driving projects forward and finding opportunities to increase impact

  2. Experience of successfully navigating projects that require an analysis of situations and decision making requires an evaluation of unclear or ambiguous factors

  3. Experience working with geographically distributed teams within a global organization

  4. Program management skills and high degree of rigor and attention to detail

Public Compensation:

$143,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
