The Opportunity:

Are you an experienced eDiscovery professional with expertise in the development, collection, and processing stages of the EDRM model? In this role, you will:

  • Lead multiple teams managing a large-scale eDiscovery environment.

  • Provide strategic input to enhance and optimize workflows.

  • Develop and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency.

  • Collaborate with leadership to drive innovation in eDiscovery processes.

Remote Opportunity – Candidates within driving distance of the DC area are preferred. U.S. Citizenship is required as the role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance.**

Responsibilities:

• As a Senior Technical manager, you'll be responsible for all technical and management aspects of very large ALS operation with unique and/or complex requirements and constantly evolving data elements.

• Manages the IT resources for the large ALS operations, from hardware and software, to staffing, to coordination and interconnection with other already existing systems.

• Maintain a very proactive, leadership role in managing the IT aspects of the project, including actively coordinating with a variety of Government representatives, other contractors, and other project and Contractor components, anticipating problems, hiring and training staff, etc.

• Knowledge and understanding of tools/applications that support the ALS processing model. (i.e., Relativity, Nuix, Rampiva, etc.), and ability to stay on top of all new tools/applications coming to market.

• Manages system and user documentation and team training.

• Ensures that system and data security are adequately implemented and enforced including scheduling and testing software patches, validating performance of new releases, and evaluating and incorporating new features into operation.

• Directs and supervises technical teams; ensures conformance to functional requirements, technical design, and work standards; ensures successful completion of work, timeliness of deliverables, and quality control.

• Lead aspects of engagement delivery for assigned project(s) and programs.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects and meet deadlines as well as set priorities of tasks that are worked by multiple teams.

• Forges collaborative partnerships with diverse teams of project managers and legal professionals to meet critical deadlines.

• Provides consulting services to case teams regarding best practices for the use of legal technology.

• Perform eDiscovery work utilizing defined procedures and tools

• Ability to describe, summarize, and document how work was performed and the results of such work

• Identifying opportunities to improve workflow, enhance information security practices, and expedite data retrieval and analysis for proactive and reactive investigations.

• Development of best practice models: oversee and monitor team best practices, develop and promote standard protocols for re-occurring services, etc.

• Identifies and understands technical problems or issues through analysis of multiple data sources to draw effective conclusions and chooses the most effective course of action considering the broad business impacts.

• Implement any required project standards, governance structure and/or audit mechanism. Implement project standards across all projects in the portfolio.

• Manage program level Lessons Learned Repository, conduct project review meetings, program level risks and issues register.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Undergraduate degree required, preferably in the computer science or information management/technology disciplines.

• 10-12 years of related progressively responsible Information Technology experience, including 1 to 2 years of supervisory and/or management experience

Desired:

• Experience with Relativity, Nuix, Rampiva , ServiceNow, SFTP, and SharePoint.

• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM).

• Extensive knowledge and expertise in systems development lifecycle.

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$95,500-$210,100
