About the hotel

The Willard InterContinental Washington, DC is one of the most iconic hotels in the Nation’s Capital. About the Massage Therapist position

Life is hectic and our guests face more and more challenges with travel. We appreciate just how important it is to our guests that we offer them the opportunity to relax and relieve stress and pain. So, we’re searching for a Massage Therapist with exceptional skills, experience, and the ability to provide our guests with a wide range of massage services.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Performing professional quality massage, within scope of practice and licensing

  • Designing specific sessions based on members or guests’ individual needs.

  • Assisting in the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a regular basis.

  • Creating excellent member/guest experience through friendly and helpful attitude.

  • Communicating various promotions to clients.

  • Assisting in the cleanliness of the location (therapy rooms and common areas).

What we need from you

  • Massage Therapy state licensure

  • Communication and guest service skills

  • Hands-on experience with massage equipment

  • Demonstrating exceptional timekeeping and reliability

  • Ability to create a safe, effective environment

  • Minimum of 500 hours of massage therapy school and a certificate of completion

  • Adherence to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the massage therapy services provided, including following any applicable law pertaining to maintaining current Massage License

  • Knowledge of and experience in performing a variety of massage therapies required, as well as knowledge of and experience in performing other modalities

The hourly pay rate range for this role is $25.75 to $40.75. This rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Washington, DC. This is the starting rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may pay more or less than the posted rate, and the rate may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
