Service Sales Support – Southeast Region –Remote (GRIP SL-SA-SHSALAD-PR08)

Position Overview

In this role, the successful incumbent completes several internal processes and activities in support of Siemens Healthineers Service Contract Sales. The role includes assisting with the preparation and evaluation of proposals and contracts, review and revision of customer price quotes, and analysis and editing for Service Contract Sales. Opportunities to gain proficiency in activities within Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Service Contract Sales, with exposure to the other business areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Performall activities associated with the creation, review, analysis, editing and escalation of Sales Tracker (CPQ/Shareville) Preliminary Service quotes for the Service and Equipment sales teams.

  • Validationof new contracts including gathering of required contract andconfiguration documents to drive accuracy and efficiency of sales quotegeneration.

  • Support sales teams by providing historical customercontract information and reporting.

  • Work closely with Service Sales Executives to understandcustomer configurations and customer specific deliverables to ensure quoteaccuracy.

  • Reviewcustomer orders and check consistency and completeness in collaborationwith all involved stakeholders on both customer side and Siemens' sales orproject management organization.

  • Initiatesales orders / purchase orders to vendors according to customerrequirements.

  • Ensuretimely shipment / billing of equipment.

  • Interfacewith factory and product / marketing groups to resolve configurations andtechnical changes.

  • Evaluateand monitor profitability for sales orders in backlog.

  • Maydetermine discount rates applied at time of sale.

  • Mayresolve issues related to transaction quality.

  • Guidethe customer sales support process related to scheduling factory tours,product demonstrations or presentations, new product trainings, tradeshows, field sales support and pricing.

  • May sign off on small / non-bids and proposals(Bid Manager).

  • Providefull sales procedures, analyze issues, implement changes and preparecustomer visits, investigations, market research activities or sales &marketing controlling operations, within Service Sales.

  • Focuson identifying local or regional customers, markets or regions, forassigned product, solution or service portfolio in the various saleschannels of Siemens (-> see "Sales Position Map").

  • Identifyand analyze customer needs and discuss technical specifications, incooperation with Key Account Manager responsible or together withtechnical project manager. Prepare and oversee negotiations and contracts.

Requirements:

  • Strong writing skills and extremelydetail-oriented to provide editing and rewrites of proposals and contracts, aswell as accurate quotes.

  • Proven interpersonal skills, ability tocollaborate effectively internally amongst many groups, and maintain positive rapportwith internal and external customers.Ability to provide effective and meaningful feedback.Must be able to work effectively in a teamenvironment.

  • Strong organizational skills with ability tomulti-task, prioritize workflow, perform under sensitive deadlines.

  • Familiarity with end to end sale and entirequote process.

  • Demonstrated aptitude to identify and resolvemoderately complex problems and apply problem-solving skills effectively.Ability to make decisions and recommendations to resolve issues.

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownershipof issues and collaborate/consult with peers and othersoutside of functional area to resolve issues and improve existingprocesses.

  • Proficient with updating processes to improve teamresults, and generate workflows to contribute to effectiveness.

Education and Required Knowledge/Skills:

  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Business withat least 3 to 5 years of quoting, contract, or medical equipment service orsales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proficient with Dashboards, Data Analytics,Metric Tracking System, Sales Management Systems (ie CPQ/Shareville)

  • Proficient with MS Office suite (particularlyWord and Excel)

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Medical Imaging Equipment ServiceContracts, Clinical Environments, matrixed organizations.

  • Basicknowledge of DI/AT/US and SiemensHealthineers Service product lines and how those differences impactquoting.
