Responsibilities

Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity in our National Security Segment to provide business transformation and change management support for an emergency management client. Our management consulting professionals help our clients identify, evaluate, and solve some of their most complex challenges, assisting them in achieving their strategic goals and objectives to fulfill their mission and comply with Federal laws and regulations. Individuals will be engaged in a diverse set of project-specific tasks covering a broad set of business transformation and change management capabilities, including:

  • Facilitating strategic leadership alignment workshops and planning

  • Documenting existing business processes and designing new processes to improve the operations of an organization

  • Improving business processes and supporting training on new business processes and operating models

  • Consolidating and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data of operational customer and employee data to support data-driven decision-making

  • Presenting insights and recommendations for client prioritization and investment

  • Developing and presenting recommended plans of action

  • Conducting customer experience assessments and collecting voice of the customer data based on OMB requirements

  • Contributing to customer journey mapping, customer journey design, and roadmap development

  • Leading the development of a Customer Experience Self-Assessment as defined by OMB Circular A-11 Section 280

  • Supporting the socialization of cultural and management transformational requirements

  • Supporting implementation of short-, medium-, and long-term approved recommendations

  • Supporting a team to assess clients’ learning and development needs, develop training, and facilitate strategy and ideation sessions on organizational and strategic priorities

  • Mentoring and supporting clients through process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Required:

Due to our contractual requirements, to be eligible for this role, you must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated at time of hire.

Experience assessing, evaluating, and improving customer experience processes

Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Bachelor’s degree in a management related field (preferred)

3+ years relevant experience, ideally in a management and strategy consulting related field

Demonstrates a thorough proven track record of success managing small to mid-size project teams in a collaborative and fast-paced environment

Preferred:

Ability to think critically, strategically, and innovatively

Ability to effectively engage and interact with senior management level clients

Ability to identify and address client needs and deliver quality results in a collaborative and fast-paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated ability to communicate with clients in an organized and knowledgeable manner

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Exudes professionalism, is flexible, and has a positive attitude

Must be collaborative and inclusive of all backgrounds and opinions

Certifications in one or more of the following:

  • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP)

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

  • Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Yellow, Green, or Black Belt
