Job Description

An employer is looking for a HYBRID Secret Systems Administrator in the D.C. area. This person will maintain clients Information Systems in a distributed environment. They will be responsible for problem prevention/detection and resolution to root cause. Provide software patches and release, version upgrades of operating systems, and software to maintain supportability. Install, upgrade, configure Microsoft Windows operating systems and servers. Work tickets assigned via ITSM software and provide senior-level support for calls received from Help Desk. Manage and maintain Microsoft Application Servers (IIS, SQL, SharePoint). Manage and maintain Windows core infrastructure: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PKI, Group Policy and login scripts. Test and configure application software, operating systems, and system management tools.

Skills and Requirements

- Active secret clearance

- Bachelors degree Cyber, IT, Computer Science, or related field

- One of the following certifications: M365E/X, VCP, CCNP, LPIC or Linux- 7+ years of experience with networking and systems engineer support

- Advanced knowledge of back-end software and systems: VMWare, Windows Server, SQL Server, .NET Framework

- Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DFS, Clustered and stand-alone servers

- Advanced knowledge of server and PC-based hardware and operating systems

- Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment and maintenance

- Working knowledge of CIFS, NFS, PKI, SSH, FTP/SFTP

- Familiarity with PowerShell, Windows Fail Over Clustering - Top secret clearance

- Experience with Veeam Backup

- Experience with implementing DISA STIG for operating systems

- Experience supporting load balancing web servers null
