MIRACORP is looking for a dynamic, people-centric Program Manager to work onsite for a Federal contractor in Washington, D.C. This role requires someone who can effectively support multiple points of contact while coaching/mentoring a customer-focused team of administrative and management support professionals across several work locations. MIRACORP measures success through providing superior customer service to key stakeholders including, but not limited to, the contracting officer, contracting officer’s representative, client executives and other federal personnel.
The Program Manager is responsible for implementing, managing, and executing all contractual requirements for this federal customer while effectively managing a remote workforce.
Responsibilities include:
Manages all contract support operations and delivery projects, with strong multitasking capabilities to oversee multiple projects and employees for multiple locations.
Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of contract support activities or the delivery to be managed.
Develops plans, schedules, and resource estimates for projects and programs using established project management standards.
Establishes and alters (as necessary) management structure to direct effective contract support activities or assigned delivery order projects.
Reports to the company’s president on all contractual performance metrics.
Accountable for oversight of contract to include its deliverables, quality, and timeliness.
Identifies and reduces redundancy, excessive costs of tasks, projects, and improves processes.
Addresses position development and training needs of employees to continuously satisfy contract requirements including advocating for promotional opportunities where appropriate.
Prepares and delivers accurate customer Monthly Status Reports demonstrating exceptional value of services rendered.
Establishes, communicates, documents and monitors employee goals and objectives based on contractual requirements
Creates and maintains a culture of high performers and supports employee professional development.
Using an SOP format, clearly documents all tasks, projects, and requirements thoroughly, timely, and ensures all deadlines are met and/or exceeded.
Identifies, documents and shares lessons learned, best practices, and process improvements.
Leverages knowledge and expertise in the areas of project, performance, portfolio, problem, process, financial, security, and logistics management.
Coaches employees to exceed contractual requirements of the Statement of Work.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Must possess an active Secret Security clearance.
Must possess a PMP certification.
BS/BA degree required.
10 years’ experience in program/project management
5 years Financial Management Budget Experience, Modifications/Invoicing/Statement of Work Changes
Demonstrated experience in successfully leading mid-sized teams.
Experience utilizing corporate staffing processes to quickly satisfy Government FTE requirements.
Experience in conducting Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and reporting financial data.
