Corner Alliance Public Safety Wireless Project Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia

We are currently seeking a Project Manager with 6-8 years progressive experience in project management in a National Wireless Carrier to join our team and fully embrace our commitment to deliver, grow and thrive .

About the Role:

As a Project Manager supporting our Federal government client, you will be trusted to provide technical project management expertise to support the development and deployment of critical broadband/wireless services for public safety. The support will help ensure any procurement strategy, approach, selected and executed solution meet technical and business objectives set out by the program. 

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):  

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including federal clients, technical teams, and vendors, ensuring alignment of project objectives and expectations.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proactive management of potential issues that could impact project delivery.

  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring the successful integration and deployment of 4G LTE core infrastructure, mobile applications, and related technologies.

  • Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial constraints.

  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible, including project plans, status reports, and technical specifications.

  • Provide detailed project reports to clients and internal stakeholders, summarizing progress, challenges, and next steps.

  • Mentor and support the professional development of junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the project management lifecycle, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and government regulations, addressing any issues that arise.

    Location:

    You will work a hybrid schedule with availability to come onsite as needed. Reside in either Reston, VA or Boulder, CO areas.

    Required Experience/Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following degrees: Business Administration, Quantitative Analysis, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent progressive experience with a National Wireless Carrier supporting build and deployment of LTE.

  • 6-8 years progressive experience in project management for a National Wireless Carrier.

  • Possesses knowledge of a broad range of 4G LTE concepts and systems to include:

  • 4G LTE Core infrastructure and services including the 4G enhanced packet core (EPC), and services such as location-based services, mission critical services and proximity services.

  • Mobile application ecosystem and development experience including (ICAM), local control applications, and public safety applications.

  • Mobile devices and the mobile device ecosystem, including mobile application management, mobile device management, IoT and mobile device accessories and UICC (SIM) management.

  • OSS/BSS systems as they pertain to mobile networks.

  • Core network services, solutions, and configurations.

  • US citizenship or permanent resident and the ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance or suitability.

    Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
