CACI is seeking a Project Manager with in-depth knowledge of the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Manpower, Personnel, and Training program to support NAVSEA (SEA-21), Program Manager, Surface Training Systems (PMS 339), providing Manpower, Personnel, and Training expertise and direct support for the PMS 339 Readiness Acquisition LCS Assistant Program Manager. Our customer is responsible for strategic program planning, policy, acquisition, life-cycle management, and technical insertion, for all existing and future Navy Surface Training platforms.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Plan, manage, and facilitate meetings on behalf of the Government Lead.
Provide program management and training system acquisition guidance.
Support routine and urgent Manpower, Personnel, and Training (MP&T) tasking for acquisition, new construction, modernization, and sustainment.
Develop and maintain project status briefs, trackers, and other project management tools to monitor and report cost, schedule, performance, and risk.
Coordinate with LCS training stakeholders to support Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution (PPBE) processes in support of requirements, development, delivery, and sustainment of Surface Training Systems as required by the Department of Defense 5000.2 series and OPNAV instructions.
Lead a team in delivery of MP&T products and process execution including Crew Scheduling and Phasing Plans, Manpower Estimate Reports, Navy Training System Plans, Preliminary Ship Manpower Documents, Availability MP&T Plans, Trainer Installation and Transfer Agreements. and Integrated Logistics Support Certification and Ship Change Document Reviews.
Make recommendations for MP&T requirements and advise NAVSEA Staffs, Learning Center Staffs, Type Commander Staffs, Surface Warfare Training Committee (SWTC) Mission Area Chair and Resource Sponsors for new and lifecycle sustainment resourcing requirements.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s Degree desired but not required
Experience including:
Leadership in US Navy surface combatants
Service on US Navy Echelon 1 or higher staff
Defense Acquisition System, Joint Capability Integration and Development System, Planning Programming, Budgeting and Execution, US Navy shipbuilding programs
Navy Training Systems Requirements, Acquisition, and Management
Strong written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks and effectively schedule required deliverables, meetings and follow-up actions
Expert Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access
Effective, proven organizational, communications, and writing skills required to develop various briefs, talking points, status slides, and technical reports.

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.
The proposed salary range for this position is:
$74,600-$156,700
