What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is seeking a Program Transformation Analyst to provide project management and process improvement support services to meet the objectives of NAVSEA’s Digital Transformation strategy. This high-visibility position requires daily interaction with senior leaders and executives at Washington Navy Shipyard (WNY) and balancing multiple Command initiatives and operations at both the strategic and tactical levels.

You will be part of a highly collaborative small CACI cross-functional support team providing direct support to the Government Digital Transformation Program Manager. You will consult, plan, execute, and monitor Digital Transformation Initiatives in alignment with the organizational strategy and vision. This entails development of strategic partnerships with military leadership, government stakeholders, CACI teammates, and subcontractors to drive process improvement initiatives to reach desired objectives.

More About the Role:

  • Facilitate routine in-person and virtual (Teams) meetings, cross-functional off-site meetings, and Strategic Planning Sessions. Capture meeting summary and action items in action tracking tool.

  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule and work plan to track and monitor progress, driving schedule for implementation of digital capabilities.

  • Monitor and report project outcomes, delays and elevate program risks consistent with the program risk mitigation plan.

  • Update and maintain tools/systems developed to monitor project progress and track and follow up on action items.

  • Prepare briefings and reports discussing activities, observations, findings, and recommendations for senior leadership to aid decision making.

  • Advise senior leadership on innovative strategies and industry best practices and methods to improve processes and drive change in alignment with the Digital Transformation Strategy.

  • Identify gaps, make recommendations, and document/integrate decisions. Recommend operational strategies and plans that will directly impact overall functional results. Provide strategic advice and operational context to stakeholders.

  • Work with CACI teammates to establish, track, assess, and internally/externally report project progress and metrics related to stakeholder goals and objectives.

  • Provide administrative support as/when needed, e.g., draft meeting minutes, draft work products in multiple formats, perform data collection/entry, maintain, and administer MS Teams workspaces, and complete research taskings.

  • Work independently with limited supervision. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.

  • Support/interface with customers via face to face, telephone, video conferencing, email, chat, and applicable online presence.

  • Work is on the customer site or at the CACI office approximately 3 days/week. The remainder of work will be done at home site.

  • Physical Demands: Normal demands associated with a corporate office environment, including ability to work on a computer for long periods. Work may sometimes be in an active industrial environment that may require walking long distances carrying backpack filled with work materials (and transporting materials, supplies as needed), climbing ladders, and accessing confined spaces. Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience providing project management and process improvement consultation, organizational development, transformation services, and/or support services in a large organization.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as part of a collaborative cross-functional team to implement senior leadership initiatives and strategies.

  • Experienced facilitating meetings attended by senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated experience using project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Proven analytical skills and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Experience supporting projects through the full life cycle.

  • Experience and training in Project Management, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, Shingo, Prosci Change Management, or Theory of Constraints.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in the preparation, selection, organization, and presentation of information in a concise and coherent manner.

  • Willingness and ability to experiment and innovate new approaches to provide the highest caliber service to our customers.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with customers at all levels of the organization in a professional, effective manner.

  • Strong customer service orientation. Respectfully engage customers in a manner that achieves successful outcomes.

  • Ability to organize work efficiently and manage time effectively.

  • Ability to perform successfully both independently and as a team member in a demanding work environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Certifications in Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, Shingo, Prosci Change Management, or Theory of Constraints.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

  • Previous military service or previous work experience at a Naval Shipyard.

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$62,200-$130,600
