Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity with one of our clients for a Program Manager based in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:

Leads the management and execution of the following training professional development programs, including:

-Serves as liaison for applicants, reviewers, and study section members

-Manages the processing and maintenance of applications to participate in professional development programs

-Manages the development of workshop materials

-Creates evaluations in appropriate evaluation systems and summarizes results

-Works with program leaders and the Senior Manager of Career Development & Services to develop to develop curriculums and selection of faculty

-Tracks program expenses

-Manages events for professional development-focused subcommittees, including preparing meeting materials and organizing logistics

Manages and executes events for study sections:

-Manages process for preparing and compiling materials for study sections

-Tracks study section discussions and prepare section recommendations for approval

Works with the Senior Manager of Career Development & Training on client’s mentorship initiatives and support the Mentorship Oversight Working Group

Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration or other related field

-A minimum of 5 years of program management experience

-Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and follow-through skills

-Experience and proficiency in the use of databases; working knowledge of Personify preferred

-Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
