Google Program Manager II, AI/Machine Learning, Global Affairs in Washington, District Of Columbia

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • 2 years of experience with trust and safety.

  • Experience with AI systems and testing techniques for AI-powered products.

  • Understanding of red teaming and adversarial testing methodologies.

  • Understanding of AI principles and best practices.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for strategic and operational initiatives. You will often lead special projects that will require planning, data analytics, process design, problem solving, and coordination across multiple functions and various levels of leadership.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Maintain and improve a structured intake process for all Content Adversarial Red Team (CART) testing requests, encompassing both pre-production and production testing needs.

  • Maintain and improve a triage process for evaluating incoming requests and determining their scope and priority.

  • Support CART analysts in managing the testing process.

  • Play a key role in the ongoing development and improvement of the CART program.
