JOB DESCRIPTION
Dcode is seeking a design-oriented Product Manager to lead the development of internal software tools that will support our growing government advisory business. As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for translating our consulting processes into easy to use tools for our internal teams. You’ll work closely with our Client Success team to understand our consulting methodology and design software that facilitates consistent delivery practices. Your software will enable teams to share information more efficiently, track client outcomes, and provide world-class services to our clients. You’ll drive the product roadmap and work closely with our COO and CTO to ensure it aligns with product vision and business goals.
Salary range: $93,000-$126,000 plus bi-annual bonuses
Security clearance eligibility required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Management
Maintain a 3-6 month product roadmap
Manage 1-2 software engineers
Maintain a development backlog for asynchronous engineers
Set and track metrics to validate the products usefulness
Instruct internal users how to integrate your software solutions into their workflows
Adapt to evolving business challenges and constantly seek out opportunities for software to enhance Dcode’s operations
UX/UI Design
Collaborate with teams across Dcode to understand our consulting processes
Design software tools and features to enhance service delivery
Seek out opportunities where software can solve business challenges
Design software solutions that are intuitive and easy to use
Create low-fidelity designs (mock-ups, wireframes) to propose software solutions to management.
Qualifications
KEY SKILLS
You’ll learn something new every day in this role. We’ll teach you the ropes but ideal candidates will have:
3 years of experience with UX/UI design. Ideal candidates will have experience in new product development.
Experience in government consulting / advisory services
Experience designing software around services
Exposure to product management, software development, or user research
A keen ability to listen to software users and discern needs
Proven problem-solving, self-management, and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A desire and ability to work in an environment that is welcoming, open, transparent, curious, collaborative, fast, challenging, results-driven, and fun!
Ability to obtain U.S. security clearance
