The People Data Reporting Analyst at Facebook strives to deliver useful and accurate reporting data and analytical insights to create People-related strategies across the business. This role will work closely with various cross-functional Partners across the Return to Office stakeholders to effectively distill ad hoc requests, ask appropriate questions to understand hypotheses and respond to requests with logical, organized, data/insights in a timely manner. The prospective candidate will be curious and inquisitive, have strong critical thinking and analytical skills, will thrive managing concurrent projects while working with a global team to drive outcomes and will enjoy informing and influencing stakeholders with data and insights.

Required Skills:

  1. Respond to RTO data and dashboarding requests related to people data with minimal guidance in partnership with RTO Analytics Business Partners.

  2. Handle ad hoc reporting and analytics requests, while addressing RTO Stakeholder long-term needs and driving insights for HR Partners using existing dashboards, HRIS data, and leveraging our people data ecosystem.

  3. Act as an internal consultant by understanding business needs and applying contextual knowledge in order to scope data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions to key business partners in collaboration with other members of analytics teams.

  4. Effectively communicate with cross functional partners and internal teams to deliver solutions in a timely fashion.

  5. Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, manage escalations and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS in a field that emphasizes data analysis and visualization (e.g., computer science, social sciences, physical sciences, math, engineering, or statistics), or equivalent work experience

  2. 3+ years of experience working with data visualization tools

  3. Excel experience including creating pivot reports, conditional formulas and formatting, VLOOKUPs, and charts/graphs partnered with analytical and problem solving experience

  4. Experience with data management, specifically with validating and auditing data and reports from multiple systems

  5. Experience manipulating large data sets through statistical software or other methods

  6. Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance

  7. Experience having effective conversations with clients about their support needs and requirements, manage the intake process, and ask the right questions to scope and solve the requests

  8. Experience with SQL (or similar language aimed at querying relational databases)

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment

  2. Experience working with HR/organizational people data preferred (e.g. headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, and other people analytics)
