TEKsystems Patient Registration Associate in Washington, District Of Columbia
Description:
Responsible for high-volume scheduling of procedures, upwards of 50-100 patients will be scheduled and registered per day. Will also be responsible for follow-up messages from both patients and providers during downtime. Familiarity with EMR, preferably IDX however willing to be flexible. Will be updating procedures inputted into the EMR. Will be doing both patient-facing and back-office responsibilities! Responsible for scheduling procedure appointments, updating demographics, following up on providers notes.
Primarily in person scheduling following up on physicians appointments
○ Could be 50+ patients per day
Supporting the breast providers/nurse coordinators
May assist with checking people in but essentially procedure scheduling/follow-up appointments
Utilizing IDX and MedConnect
Skills:
Customer service skills
Patient registration experience
EMR familiarity (preferably IDX)
Insurance verification
Scheduling appointments
Front desk
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1+ years of experience doing Medical Admin Assistant work.
Experienced working at the front desk in a high-volume clinic
