The Tyvek® and Typar® (T&T) enterprise in the Water & Protection business unit aspires to be the leading provider of breathable high-performance materials for worker protection, patient safety, and creativity. We provide (1) durable garments and accessories for chemical protection (2) durable microbial barrier materials for sterile environments (3) non-tear, lightweight sheet products for graphics, signage, and packaging, and (4) filtration membranes and weatherproof barriers.

DuPont has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Sales Account Manager in the North America DuPont™ Tyvek® & Typar® Roll Goods segment. As Sales Account Manager you will maintain and expand relationships with strategic value chain partners, as well as build new strategic channel accounts that will serve the North American Consumer & Industrial markets. This role is part of the Sales Organization. You will be responsible for managing and growing strategic accounts, driving demand generation with existing and new customers, and serving as a key facilitator during DuPont’s cross-functional engagements with key end-user accounts.

Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:

  • Accountable for the end-to-end sales processes including VOCs collection, CTQs understanding, value proposition, volume forecast, price, revenue, payment terms, account receivables, etc.

  • Build thorough and strategic account planning focused on customer value creation.

  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing strategic Distributors and Converters, as well as seek and develop new ones with high-growth profiles, that serve the North America Consumer & Industrial markets.

  • Inspire trust and build sustainable customer relationships to nimbly drive the opportunity pipeline increase and conversion.

  • Work collaboratively with strategic value chain partners to develop a pipeline of targeted opportunities that promotes and secures Tyvek® for new applications and/or alternative material replacements to Tyvek®.

  • Assess and secure business at risk, and negotiate incent-to-use contracts.

  • Work with the value chain to extend DuPont’s value proposition across critical accounts to maximize business results, increase brand awareness, and sustainability, and grow revenues in the C&I market segment.

  • Engage with the global team where appropriate and create detailed account plans and contact strategies in a way that enhances cross-functional collaboration across the enterprise.

  • Facilitates cross-functional collaboration with DuPont technical, quality, product management, supply chain, customer service, and marketing team members, to address customer needs.

The position currently reports to the North America Tyvek® Roll Goods Sales Leader. Candidates can work in a hybrid mode in Wilmington, DE and from home or be fully home-based, depending on location within US. Relocation is not available.

The role is expected to travel approximately 50% in the US to customer sites and relevant tradeshows/conferences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters in STEM field. Advanced technical degree preferred.

  • At least 3 years of work experience in commercially oriented roles, including marketing, business development, sales, or strategy.

  • Experience in the nonwoven/textile industry, preferably in consumer and industrial applications.

  • Ability to quickly understand and assimilate new technologies, products, and processes.

  • Intellectual curiosity coupled with a strong drive towards execution.

  • Familiarity with the technical and regulatory requirements of evaluating and commercializing materials in the Consumer and Industrial space.

  • Results-oriented & resilient hunter mindset.

  • Building sustainable relationships: the ability to quickly secure the confidence and trust of others when facing the customer and within DuPont.

  • Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to influence key stakeholders both internal and external.

  • Strong professional presence, business acumen, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop an execution plan.

  • Experience with sales pipeline/opportunity management and CRM tools such as SFDC.

  • Knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel Savvy.

The Pay range for this role is $90,930.00 - $142,890.00 Annual

Each role has an associated pay range (or an established pay rate for some roles) based on the competitive market in each country where we operate. Each individual’s pay is based on a variety of factors, including their role and the associated pay range for that role, their geographic location (i.e., country, state, metropolitan area), as well as their skills, experience, education and certifications, and performance.
