Position Overview:

The Chamber’s Member Relations team engages leading global companies to inform policy, drive advocacy, raise awareness, catalyze collaboration, and establish deep connections. We are seeking an account management and corporate relations professional to join us and support a portfolio of our top industry members in the health care and financial services sectors. The successful candidate is a team player who thrives on developing strong partnerships and leveraging those relationships to deliver member value and unlock revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Support a diverse portfolio of top-tier health care and financial services corporate accounts, fostering strong relationships with decision makers and government affairs leaders.

  • Actively engage members through in-person meetings, calls, and regular touchpoints to share updates, build strategy, and deliver value .

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of relevant industry issues both domestically and internationally, leveraging insights to provide valuable opportunities and curated involvement for members.

  • Work creatively and collaboratively with Chamber policy experts to constantly identify new areas of interest for members throughout the organization’s advocacy offerings, deliver contracted benefits, deepen overall engagement, and unlock additional areas of investment.

  • Coordinate with the Chamber’s Finance and Operations departments for revenue forecasting, invoicing, and engagement tracking using Salesforce and other tools.

  • Support issue-advocacy fundraising campaigns, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational goals.

  • Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive revenue growth plan for existing accounts, surpassing annual revenue and retention objectives.

  • Direct sales and prospecting efforts, identifying potential members, driving outreach, setting meetings, guiding follow-up, and, upon commitment, leading onboarding and integration.

  • Be a generous team contributor.

  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in fundraising or sales support with a focus on health care and/or financial services.

  • Demonstrated ability in relationship management, client servicing, and sales skills.

  • Exceptional presentation and persuasion skills, particularly in engaging corporate leaders.

  • Strong client service ethic.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, for tracking progress and enhancing member participation.

  • Ability to work interdepartmentally to drive member value and engagement.

  • A familiarity and understanding of the health care and/or financial services industry.

  • An entrepreneurial spirit and a track record showing initiative and ownership of work.

  • Growth mindset, openness to challenging assumptions, and strong organizational acumen.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and superior organization.

  • Ability to manage complex and fast-changing portfolios of work and prioritize effectively in response.

  • Comfort with ambiguity.

  • An interest in policy and politics with a solid understanding of the Chamber’s work and value.

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, notably Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
