Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager in WASHINGTON, District of Columbia, United States. The HR Manager will be responsible for assisting in developing and implementing recruiting strategies, managing the full recruitment process, and overseeing the usage of the applicant tracking system. Additionally, the HR Manager will be tasked with creating, managing, and implementing updates to the company human resources policies and procedures, maintaining job descriptions and position management, and assisting in the administration of health and welfare benefits plans.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of recruiting strategies to meet required staffing needs

• Oversee and manage the usage of the applicant tracking system

• Create, manage, and implement the updates to the company human resources policies and procedures

• Maintain job descriptions and position management

• Assist in administration of health and welfare benefits plans

• Manage all requests for FMLA, STD, LTD and new parent leave

• Assist with and/or manage the onboarding and offboarding of employees

• Assist with the implementation of department and Association strategic goals

• Advise managers on employee relations issues when applicable

• Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and allocation spreadsheet for Finance. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field

• SHRM certification.

• Minimum of 5 years’ Human Resource generalist experience.

• Prior non-profit association experience is strongly preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of full cycle recruiting experience.

• Proficiency in common HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems.
