Job Description:

• This opportunity is for a Hospital Communications Operator.

• The communications operator will sit at the switchboard, transferring and answering all incoming calls.

• Incoming calls will be answered and directed to the correct department or location.

• Relay information to patients around information desk information, and hours of operation.

• Take down patient information for admissions, discharges, and transfers.

• Handle some emergency calls.

• Must have some experience in healthcare and knowledge of medical terminology!

• This is a full-time, contract to hire job opportunity with benefits.

Schedule:

• Must be available to work weekdays, occasional weekends, and some holidays.

• Shift: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
