The General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible primarily for responding to guest requests as well as general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. Guest room and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included. A General Maintenance Engineer will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills.

Our good faith belief at the time of this posting is that the hourly pay for this position will be $34.44 per hour.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of one year building maintenance experience is strongly preferred, with hotel experience preferred

• Good customer service and communication skills are required

• Ability to use hand tools and power tools is required

• Must have open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to work without direct supervision.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances

• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight about 50 pounds

• Must be a team player but able to work independently as well
