Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician with experience in HVAC systems and backup generators.

• You will be responsible for maintaining and completing minor repairs and preventative maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

• Your knowledge of chillers, boilers, air handlers, VAV boxes, and motors will be essential.

• Additionally, you will perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance tasks, including carpentry, drywall, and painting. You will also assist the engineering team with tasks such as filter changes and minor repairs.

• The building spans 184,000 sq. feet with office and retail spaces. The retail section is on the bottom floor of an 11-floor building, located in a busy area right across from a Metro station.

Required Skills

• Experience with HVAC systems

• Knowledge of chillers, boilers, air handlers, VAV boxes, and motors

• Plumbing and electrical systems maintenance

• Carpentry, drywall, and painting skills

Schedule

• 9am-6pm, off every other Friday. (9/80 schedule)
