Insight Global Data Analyst in Washington, District Of Columbia
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Data Analyst to support us in an important DOD customer in the Pentagon. This individual will be responsible for using data science and data analytics tools to understand and prepare data in support of data driven decision-making. This individual will work to understand requirements and analyze raw data to draw conclusions and make recommendations to our government director and program manager in the areas of efficiency, resource utilization, and mission alignment. In addition to data analysis and reporting, they will:
Work as an integrated part of the Financial Readiness team to support key initiatives and activities across the organization.
Support daily morning meetings and team meetings using common communication tools and team collaboration tools.
Draft policy documents related to the financial readiness of Service members and families in a variety of formats, to include standard operating procedures, memorandums, and instructions.
Review, research, analyze, and communicate the potential impacts of proposed legislation on DoD policies, programs, and positions related to the financial readiness of Service members and families.
Coordinate with DoD-wide programs to address financial readiness policy requirements, including military training, banking, morale and welfare programs, suicide prevention, family readiness, and transition assistance.
Hourly: 47-56/hr
Salary: 110,000 - 125,000

Skills and Requirements
-Bachelors degree and 6 years of related experience, or 10 years of experience
-Active Secret Clearance
-Expertise working within Tableau and in-depth knowledge of the tools capabilities for data analysis
-Strong Communication Skills, must be able to present data findings and insights in briefings to government customers
-Experience with administrative and office management tasks in support of DoD, Intel, or related government office null
