Amentum Contracts Analyst - Mid Level in Washington, District Of Columbia

Amentum is seeking a talented and experienced mid level Contracts Analyst to support the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) Business and Financial Management Branch. The Contracts Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Government to draft procurement-related documents in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations and associated supplements and DOD 5000 series requirements.

*Contingent on Contract Award in February 2025*

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Requirements documents, to include Market Research Reports, Work Statements, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL), Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN), DD-254s, Acquisition Plans, Source Selection Plans, Justifications & Approvals, and Determinations & Findings for activities approval by the Government.

  • Provide administrative source selection support.

  • Administer contracts and coordinate Industry Days.

  • Prepare Procurement Requests, Modification Requests, Technical Direction Letters/Technical Instructions, and tracking obligations/expenditures, and deliverables.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical field.

  • 4-8 years of experience in management, operations research analysis, or human capital assessment and analysis

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

HIRING SALARY RANGE : $80,000 - $120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
