KBR Badging Coordinator (RDSD) in Washington, District Of Columbia

Badging Coordinator (RDSD)

KBR is seeking to hire a Badging Coordinator to join our Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Operating Unit. CIP provides expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of Electronic Security Systems (ESS) and Utilities/Control Systems for the DoD, FAA, and Federal Law Enforcement.

Position Description

This position provides administrative and customer service support to Research and Development Services Division (RDSD) at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) in Washington, DC. The position will have the following responsibilities:

  • Serves as badging coordinator for RDSD. This position is responsible for coordinating with multiple non NRL-entities and informing them of the correct procedures to follow.

  • Utilizing DOD Safe, this position receives and reviews all Access Requests and Visitor Requests from NAVFAC, USACE and NRL In -House contractors. Ensures the information is correct, forwards to 3500 Leadership for approval, and then to Visitor Control for approval.

  • Maintains RDSD Database to track incoming requests.

  • Files, classifies and retrieves material in an established filing system.

  • Files and updates databases and checks the status.

  • Member of the NRL Team that regularly reviews and makes required updates to the SOP “Construction, Facility Support Services Contract, and Out of Hours Badging”

  • Assists with a variety of administrative matters as directed.

  • Must be familiar with use of computer and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) as it relates to updating various RDSD Visitor Request related information.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent).

  • At least 4 years of administrative experience.

  • Customer service experience desired, but not required.

  • Clearance not required to start, but ability to obtain and maintain a Secret and ultimately Top Secret clearance is required for long term employment.

This is a Service Contract Act (SCA) position.

Salary range: $59,685 - $89,470. The salary range posted is for Washington, DC. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
