Primary Function

Ensure the smooth operation of teleprompter systems during live broadcasts or recordings. As an Autocue Operator, you'll work closely with directors, producers, and presenters to deliver flawless performances and maintain seamless communication.

Must speak and read Arabic fluently.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operate teleprompter equipment to display scripts or cue cards for presenters during live broadcasts, recordings, or events.

  • Coordinate closely with directors, producers, and presenters to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of scripts or messages.

  • Adjust the speed and timing of the teleprompter display to match the pace of the presentation or performance.

  • Monitor script changes and updates, making adjustments to the teleprompter accordingly.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to the teleprompter system and collaborate with technical support teams for resolution.

  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor under pressure, especially during live broadcasts or time-sensitive recordings.

  • Provide support and guidance to presenters on effective reading techniques and delivery methods.

  • Collaborate with other crew members to ensure overall production quality and efficiency.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in teleprompter technology to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating teleprompter systems in a live broadcast or production environment.

  • Proficiency in understanding and executing script cues with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members under tight deadlines.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot teleprompter equipment issues quickly and effectively.

  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by production schedules.

  • Knowledge of broadcasting and production workflows is a plus.

  • Certification or training in teleprompter operation may be preferred.

  • A passion for media production and a commitment to delivering high-quality content to audiences.

Education & Experience

  • Graduate degree in media or related discipline.

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in TV, Media, communications, or related fields.
