Join us and be a part of our journey. job description Akelius is seeking a self motivated architectural intern to join the architecture team.
The ideal candidate will provide support to our architects and designers for Akelius’ portfolio.
The successful candidate will be provided a positive learning and practical work experience, while contributing toward the success of Akelius.
collaborate with architects and designers in conceptualizing, developing, and presenting design solutions for projects
assist in producing architectural drawings, plans, and details using AutoCAD, or Bluebeam
conduct research on materials, building codes, and regulations to support project development
collaborate with project team members, consultants, and contractors to ensure effective coordination and integration of approved components
assist with administrative tasks such as, organizing project files, and maintaining project documentation
perform other duties as needed
who you are
currently enrolled in an accredited architectural program
proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Teams,
and, Microsoft Office
strong visual and graphic communication skills
knowledge of architectural principles, building materials, and construction techniques
ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
strong written and verbal communication skills
basic knowledge of architectural building systems
ability to effectively meet deadlines
