Description

As a US Federal Government Account Executive, you will: Drive the adoption of the Apple ecosystem in your territory with our industry and channel partners. Leverage your background working with Federal customers to understand their unique requirements and plans for innovation. Work collaboratively across Apple, with our customers, partners, and solutions providers to become the trusted advisor on Apple hardware, software and services solutions. Develop and implement account plans aligned to our customers’ strategies by partnering cross-functionally with Inside Sales, Systems Engineers, resellers, carriers and other strategic partners. Build demand generation activities, identify new opportunities, accurately forecast, and coordinate fulfillment logistics.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Approximately 10+ years consultative selling experience in business transformation solutions to US Federal Government Defense & Intelligence Agencies (e.g., US Air Force, US Navy, US Marine Corps, DOD Agencies, Intel Agencies), including experience with DOD acquisition processes.

  • Ability to align an organization's priorities, initiatives, and transformational goals to broadly engage customer executives — at the department and IT levels.

  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to effectively communicate how our partners, along with Apple, deliver the best solutions to our customers.

  • Strengths in relationship development/management, teaming across functions, deal making and negotiations.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • 15+ years consultative selling experience in business transformation solutions to US Federal Government Defense & Intelligence Agencies (e.g., US Air Force, US Navy, US Marine Corps, DOD Agencies, Intel Agencies), including experience with DOD acquisition processes.

  • Experience leading or implementing strategic programs within the DOD or Intel Agencies (e.g., Electronic Flight Bag, Mobility Programs and Deployments, Digital Maintenance)

  • Experience in encouraging executive relationships at DOD and Intel Agencies

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $134,100 and $201,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
