Fooda Onsite Catering Account Executive in Washington DC, District Of Columbia

Who We Are Looking For:
Fooda’s Washington DC team is looking to add a Catering Account Executive to our team at a client location. As a Catering Account Executive, you will be a member of a growing team which manages and supports our catering client’s daily needs. This role requires a sense of urgency to react and foresee potential issues that may impact our clients. At its core this is a sales and operations role with a focus on expanding our relationships with the catering customer you will supporting.

What You Will Be Doing:
Acting as the single point of contact for a Fooda catering clients
Maintain the relationship with the catering clients by offering solutions, solving problems, and managing issues
Work closely with our clients to determine catering needs; source appropriate vendor, plan, organize and execute daily drop-off and staffed events
Communicate all event details, client requests, and delivery information to restaurant partner
Negotiate new menus with restaurant partners for special requests
Attend to conference rooms as needed; tasks include refreshing beverages, coordinating food setup and removal, and other needs clients may have
Assist with food hall tasks as needed
What You Should Already Have:
1-2 year(s) of professional experience (preferably in a Catering capacity)
Strong customer facing skills
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
Proven skills demonstrating a strong work ethic adhering to both Fooda’s internal employee and external customers need
