What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role as the Global Marketing Senior Manager you will be responsible for maximizing the success of the oncology portfolio. It will also be involve working closely with Directors across multiple teams and key stakeholders from cross-functional team. This role will report to the Director, Cross-Portfolio Global Marketing, and presents a breadth of challenging and exciting responsibilities.

  • Lead cross-oncology portfolio coordination across multiple oncology teams, including budget, Integrated Brand Team consistency, Global-with-Local model implementation and oncology content calendar management

  • Develop, plan and implement the bi-annual Oncology Interchange Summits with cross-functional partners, using ONE Amgen approach

  • Drive above-brand oncology portfolio related activities (e.g., congress strategy alignment with markets and GCC; training development plans for Global Marketing and planning for oncology Global Marketing team meetings, include face-to-face meetings and meeting agenda)

  • Coordinate and collaborate with corporate affairs, GCC and markets to implement and pull through the All Angles of Care campaign

  • Forge strong working relationships with Global Marketing Leads, affiliates, cross-functional partners, SPO director and VP Oncology Global Marketing

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of marketing experience

OR

Master’s degree and 4 years of marketing experience

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of marketing experience

OR

Associate’s degree and 10 years of marketing experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A strong commercial leader with excellent marketing capabilities, superior cross-functional collaboration skills, and highly effective influencing skills

  • Prior experience developing global marketing strategies for pipeline products, successfully launching therapeutic products and excelling at local market-facing discussions

  • Prior experience in a tactical, "in-line" marketing role, implementing marketing strategies in local markets

  • An ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time, lead teams, problem solve, gain alignment and drive decision-making is required

  • Has worked in diverse commercial roles supporting different products in various stages of the lifecycle, with a diverse set of customers in challenging and competitive markets

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment, managing projects involving multiple functions and shared accountabilities

  • Strong experience in oncology therapeutic areas. Keen understanding of the science, market trends, and future opportunities and hurdles

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
